Melissa Feldberg Doctor

Dr. Melissa Feldberg, MD, CCFP, FCFP, BSc, is a distinguished medical professional with a rich educational and professional background. A graduate of the University of Ottawa, she earned her Doctor of Medicine in 2001, distinguishing herself with several accolades including the Merit Scholarship Professional Training Award, the Cancer Care Ontario Ivan H. Smith Memorial Award for Oncology, and the Karl Stern Award for Psychiatry. Her pursuit of excellence continued with her residency in Family Medicine at the University of Toronto, specifically at Sunnybrook and Women’s College from 2001 to 2003.

Dr. Feldberg’s commitment to family medicine was further recognized with a Fellowship Designation by the College of Family Physicians of Canada. Her passion for teaching led her to become a lecturer in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Toronto, where she played a vital role in the Family Medicine Longitudinal Experience Program, educating medical students and residents.

Previously, she also contributed her expertise as a member of the Admissions Committee in the Department of Medicine at the University of Toronto. In addition to her academic and professional pursuits, Dr. Feldberg currently serves as an Investigating Coroner with the Office of the Chief Coroner of Ontario, bringing her extensive medical knowledge to this critical role.

Balancing her professional achievements, Dr. Feldberg is also a dedicated mother of four, exemplifying her ability to manage a demanding career while maintaining a fulfilling personal life. Her career is a testament to her dedication to medicine, education, and family.
