MHC provides a wide range of personalized services. We are your own personalized healthcare team on demand. We work proactively to improve your health. Our system includes annual complete health assessments, in-office procedures including cosmetics, referral management, hospital navigation and advocacy, mental health support, travel health assistance, and continuous 24/7 support for your acute healthcare needs.

How can I schedule an appointment?

Are you accepting new patients?
Yes, we welcome new patients to join our clinic. Feel free to reach out to us to become a part of our comprehensive health management program.
Can I consult with my personal physician virtually?
Absolutely! MHC offers virtual visits for your convenience. Consult with your personal physician via telephone, email, or video conferencing, whenever necessary.
How does the referral management process work?
Our clinic ensures timely and efficient coordination with specialist doctors for referrals. Your personal physician will facilitate seamless communication and ensure you receive the right care and treatment.
What type of in-office procedures are available?
At MHC, you can benefit from various in-office procedures, such as bloodwork, ECG, advanced cardiac testing, lung function testing, joint injections, and dermatologic procedures including cosmetics, among other services and treatments tailored to your specific needs.
How does the travel health support work?
If you are traveling, our clinic offers consultations and assistance throughout your trip. In case of illness during your travels, we can liaise with healthcare providers abroad to ensure appropriate care.
Does MHC handle elderly health concerns?
Yes, we specialize in elderly health and provide tailored care to seniors, focusing on managing chronic conditions and enhancing their overall well-being.
Is mental health support a part of the services offered?

How can I reach my personal physician in case of urgent health concerns?
Your personal physician is available 24/7 for urgent health concerns. You can contact them directly through the provided contact information or reach our clinic during office hours for immediate assistance.
Does MHC accept insurance?
Our clinic can provide official documentation for your insurance company, health spending account, and accountants to ensure reimbursement. You are welcome to submit these documents to the third party for potential coverage or reimbursement.
Can MHC provide medical care outside Canada?
Yes, our experienced team continue to help you with care when abroad. We ensure you receive appropriate care, even when traveling internationally.
Is the Medicio HC Program Covered by OHIP?

Rest assured, Medicio HC will never charge for OHIP insured services.

The Medicio Program includes NON INSURED services such as: Comprehensive annual physical, Email advice, 24/7 emergency advice by our nurse practitioner, to mention a few.

Are all diagnostics and tests performed on site?
At Medicio, we prioritize your care. While on-site diagnostics can offer convenience, they may not always meet the highest standards of care.
Therefore, we guide you to specialized facilities within our network to ensure you receive the best possible diagnostics and results.
What are “uninsured services” ?

Uninsured services are those not covered by the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP), focusing on procedures and services beyond basic healthcare needs.

Examples include issuing sick notes, cosmetic surgeries, fees for no-shows, paperwork for various certifications, or instances where a health card is invalid.

Missed Appointment No-show for a scheduled appointment without sufficient notification.
Late Cancelation within 24 hours
Comprehensive Annual Examination (CAE) An annual comprehensive evaluation to create a tailored health management plan.
Access to the Physician Support Team Receive personalized healthcare guidance from our dedicated team of physicians, available for consultations via email or SMS during business hours, Monday through Friday.
One home/office mobile visit within Toronto per year for a CAE bloodwork Visit is prior to the annual CAE visit in preparation for the Comprehensive Annual Examination (CAE)
Nurse Practitioner Advice, 7 days/week, 24 hours/day Email/telephone advice during business hours, after hours and weekends with the nurse practitioner.

Access to Travel Advice Before and during your trip obtain expert healthcare advice 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.

Medicio HC is committed to delivering outstanding service to its clients. The block fee for uninsured services are guided by the recommendations from both the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario and the Ontario Medical Association.

While OHIP covers many aspects of your healthcare, some services step outside its boundaries. For these, we kindly ask for payment, ensuring you receive precisely what you need, when you need it.
